Girls, in Boy Scouts??

As of February 2025, Boy Scouts of America will be renamed Scouting America. Girls have been welcomed into the program since 2019. With the blessing of the Troop Committee and St. Demetrios, we applied to start a girls program.

Troop 23G was approved by Greater New York Councils and was awaiting final national approval. Girls in grades 6–12 were being enrolled.
